Purpose: To develop revenue-producing proposals, secure the endorsement of the TRAPS Board of Directors, and to implement these proposals. Submit an annual projects report and financial statement to the Board of Directors following its Annual Institute Meeting. To organize fundraising projects, which will not only generate revenues but will also offer a service to the membership.
Members: Chair, Vice-Chair, one member from each Region.
The Texas Recreation and Parks Society’s Annual Conference in San Angelo is right around the corner! The Ways and Means team would like to ask for your help in selling raffle tickets for the event. If you are not familiar with this TRAPS fundraising tradition, all you need to do is request raffle tickets (that will be mailed to you) and sell at your organization. The money and the completed raffle tickets will need to be returned to the TRAPS Ways and Means booth at the conference in March. It’s that simple!
Names will be drawn throughout the conference - a board listing the winners will be posted at the booth.
Now for your part to support your state organization, if you would like to be sent raffle tickets to sell, just contact Julie Adkins and provide your name, address and telephone number and tickets will be mailed out to you. If you do not sell all of your tickets (very unlikely I’m sure), please return those tickets to the Ways and Means booth at the conference as well.
